Jodie Walker, 1992-93

Kim Zimmer was born on February 2, 1955 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She studied at nearby Hope College and continued her professional training at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Her first roles in daytime were on The Doctors, where she played devious Nola Aldrich, and One Life to Live, where she was Echo DiSavoy.

In 1983, Kim landed the career-changing role of Reva Shayne on Guiding Light. She left that show in 1990, but returned five years later and portrayed Reva until GL's conclusion in 2009. Her portrayal of Reva earned her four Daytime Emmy Awards over the years.

During her time away from GL, Kim portrayed Jodie Walker on Santa Barbara for a year. She also had a recurring role on Aaron Spelling's Models, Inc., as well as guest spots on University Hospital, Babylon 5 and Seinfeld. In addition, she was featured in the movies-of-the-week Hell Hath No Fury and Disappearance of Vonnie.

Off-Broadway, Kim played a leading role in Jon Patrick Shanley's highly acclaimed Four Dogs & a Bone. In 2010, she returned to the role of Echo DiSavoy on One Life to Live.

Kim is married to actor/director A.C. Weary. They have three children: Rachel, Max and Jake. Her son, Jake, is also an actor.
