Kyle Secor was born on May 31, 1957 in Tacoma, Washington and grew up in the small town of Federal Way, Washington. He became interested in acting at a young age and performed in school plays. He was cast on Santa Barbara in 1986 and subsequently got a recurring role on St. Elsewhere as an AIDS patient. Kyle appeared in several movies, including Heart of Dixie, City Slickers, Sleeping with the Enemy, Untamed Heart and Endsville. He's probably best known for his seven-year run as Detective Tim Bayliss on the television series Homicide: Life on the Street. His other television credits include Party of Five, City of Angels, Philly, Veronica Mars, Commander in Chief, Hidden Palms, Women's Murder Club and the TV movies A Wrinkle In Time and Infidelity. He guest-starred on such series as Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer and Private Practice. Kyle married actress Kari Coleman in 2002, and they have two children. |
