Jane Rogers was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She trained at the renowned Children's Theater Company of Minneapolis and worked extensively in regional theater before being discovered during an ABC national talent search.

After co-starring in the feature film Purple Haze, Jane became familiar to television audiences with guest-starring roles on Boone, Falcon Crest, The Redd Foxx Show and 9-5. She came to Santa Barbara directly from General Hospital, where she portrayed nurse Celeste Gabriel. Her portrayal of Heather Donnelly on Santa Barbara won her the 1990 Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

Following her departure from SB, she played Julie Delorean on The Bold and the Beautiful and Tess on General Hospital. She has also been featured on Dream On, Renegade, Beverly Hills 90210 and 7th Heaven.

Jane has been married to Daniel Rojo since 1998, and they have one child. Jane's birthdate is April 6, 1960.
