JOHN O'HURLEY
Stephen Slade, 1990-91

John O'Hurley was born on October 9, 1954 in Maine and raised in Connecticut. He graduated from Providence College with a degree in theater arts. Before becoming an actor, he was a publicist for a hospital and the American Red Cross.

John spent much of his career in daytime, with roles on Edge of Night, Loving, All My Children, The Young and the Restless and Santa Barbara. Still, he is perhaps best known for his role as J. Peterman on the NBC sitcom Seinfeld.

In 2005, John was the runner-up celebrity dancer in the show Dancing with the Stars. He has hosted on various programs, most notably the game show Family Feud. He has also worked as a voice actor.

John was once married to actress Eva LaRue, who played Margot on SB in 1988. He has a son with his current wife.
