Kelly Capwell,
1988-89A native of Texas, Kimberly McArthur was born on September 16, 1962. She first rose to fame as Playboy magazine's Miss January in 1982. She also toured with the Playboy Production of Girls of Rock 'n Roll and was seen in TV commercials for AT&T, Merrill Lynch and Kleenex. In addition, she was featured in the music video of Mel Tillis's A Cowboy's Dream. Kimberly was seen in the feature film Don't Let Go and the television movie Elvis and Me. She made guest appearances on the TV shows Magnum, P.I. and Highway to Heaven. Kimberly was strikingly similar in looks and mannerisms to Robin Wright, her predecessor in the role of Kelly Capwell on Santa Barbara. In fact, when Kimberly arrived at the studio gate to audition for the part, the security guard thought she was Robin and waved her right through. |
