EVA LaRUE
Margot Collins, 1988

The oldest of three children, Eva LaRue was born on December 27, 1966 in Long Beach, California and began her acting career at age six in television commercials. She was later a teenage beauty queen and crowned Miss California Empire. After graduating from Norco High School in 1985, she started modeling and eventually landed a contract with Frederick's of Hollywood, a famed lingerie label.

Eva made her soap opera debut as Margot on Santa Barbara. She then appeared on All My Children as Dr. Maria Santos for a total of seven years. Her portrayal of Maria earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination. She received a second Emmy nomination for composing a song that was used on AMC.

Eva's other television credits include roles on Head Over Heels, Third Watch, Soul Food and George Lopez as well as the TV movies Remembrance, A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story and Cries in the Dark. Her hosting credits include Candid Camera and The World's Funniest Videos. She is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Natalia Boa Vista on the popular series CSI: Miami. Her feature film credits include RoboCop 3 and Lakeview Terrace.

Eva has been married to Joe Cappuccio since 2010. She was previously wed to Santa Barbara actors John O'Hurley (1992-94) and John Callahan (1996-2004). She and Callahan have a daughter, Kaya (b. 2001).

Eva is of Puerto Rican, French, Dutch and Scottish ancestry. She practices the Bahá'i faith.
