Paul Johansson was born on January 26, 1964 in Spokane,
Washington and raised in Canada. He initially became an athlete like his
father, a former NHL player, and was a member of the Canadian National
Basketball Team. Later, he turned his attention to acting.
Paul's television credits include Santa Barbara, Parker
Lewis Can't Lose, Beverly Hills 90210, Lovesome Dove: The Series,
Highlander: The Raven and The District. He is perhaps best
known for playing Dan Scott on the WB series One Tree Hill. He has
also appeared in commercials, most notably as the delivery man in a Diet
Coke commercial.
Paul's film credits include Soapdish, When the Party's
Over, She's So Lovely, Carnival of Souls and Alpha Dog. He
wrote and directed the 2004 movie The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie. He
also directed several episodes of One Tree Hill and the film
version of Ayn Rand's famous novel Atlas Shrugged.
