Gina Demott,
1984-85
A native New Yorker, Linda Gibboney was born on March 7,
1950. She originated the role of
Gina Capwell on Santa Barbara, which earned her a Soap Opera Digest
Award in 1986. By then, however, she had been replaced by Robin
Mattson.
A daytime veteran, Linda appeared as Sybil Thorne on All
My Children and Jenny Deacon on Search for Tomorrow. After
leaving SB, she portrayed Jessica Gardner on the short-lived NBC
soap opera Generations.
Her other TV credits include guest spots on The Brady
Bunch and Married with Children.
Prior to acting, Linda was an art director for an ad
agency.
