1992-93Robert Fontaine Jr. was born on July 11 in Brooklyn, New York. Schooled in the New York theater, he appeared in dozens of plays and was featured in several films, including The Beat with John Savage. He made his television debut in 1990 as Frankie Greco on the daytime drama General Hospital. After his character was written out of GH in 1991, Robert joined the cast of Santa Barbara as Cruz's half brother Rafe. He stayed with the show until it ended. From 1998 to 2000, he played the recurring role of Detective Ray Guzman on As the World Turns. After SB was axed, Robert turned his focus to writing, directing and producing movies. He made his directorial debut with the short film Rebels, which led to the financing of the full length feature Crispy Crackers and Beans. He also starred in this movie. In 2009, he created his own producing company, Industrial House Films. |
