Aurora DeAngelis,
1992-93
A native of California, Christina Brascia was born in Los
Angeles on September 13, 1971. She played the mysterious Aurora/Abby on Santa
Barbara during its final year.
Prior to joining the show, Christina appeared as a dancer
in a few videos for MTV (i.e. Robert Kelly's She's Got the Vibe, Ooh
Ah by Boyz II Men and Don't Cry by Guns N' Roses). She also did
a television commercial for Reebok.
It was not really Christina's hair that viewers got to see
on Santa Barbara. She wore a long, curly wig because the role of
Aurora called for a girl who looked as if she had been trapped in a time
warp for many years, raised by her elderly grandmother. In reality, the
actress sported shoulder-length, very straight hair.
