Rosalind Allen was born Rosalind Ingledew on September 23,
1957 in Miami, Florida. Her parents moved to New Zealand when she was 10.
Rosalind grew up there and began her career as an actress while also working as
a teacher of deaf students.
Her first major role was as Noelle Kent on the daytime
drama All My Children. In 1990, she replaced Jenny Lester-McKean as
Gretchen Richards on Santa Barbara.
Rosalind's television credits include guest spots on L.A.
Law, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Designing Women, Dream On,
Dallas and Seinfeld. She's probably best known as Dr. Wendy
Smith on the popular series SeaQuest DSV. Her motion picture credits include Naked Gun 33 1/3 and
Love Affair.
Rosalind is married and has a daughter from her marriage to
actor Todd Allen.
