SEPTEMBER
24, 1990 (Ep. #1553)
Julia and Dash are
finally freed from
the collapsed
building, while
Cassie copes with
memories of being
trapped in the
tunnel years ago.
As Michael and
Amado grieve over
Nikki's death,
Cruz finds a stick
of dynamite, which
he suspects was
planted by Harland
to lead to C.C.
Capwell. Robert and
Flame convince
Quinn not to kill
Robert, or else
their plan will be
ruined. After
Debra notices her
"Robert Barr"
interview tapes
are out of order,
she confronts
Craig, who denies
any snooping.
Kelly sees Craig
with the tape of
"Robert"
and borrows it.
SEPTEMBER
25, 1990 (Ep. #1554) Mason and Dash
are unable to
convince Julia to
stop working on
the Blues court
case. Alone with
Dash, Julia is
curious when he
dodges questions
about his medical
internship.
Instead of looking
at Craig's tape of
"Robert,"
Kelly gets angry
with everyone's
attempts to stop
the wedding. Craig
tries to convince
Kelly that Robert
and Debra are
having an affair.
Quinn assures
Kelly that he
fended off Debra's
advances. Later,
Flame nixes
Quinn's idea to
stop seeing each
other. Meanwhile,
Robert learns of
Quinn's intention
to kill Kelly
after he marries
her. Mack refuses
to help Gretchen
bump Harland off.
Laken spends some
time comforting
Amado.
SEPTEMBER
26, 1990 (Ep. #1555) When Cruz
learns from Dante
that there's no
record of
Harland's
existence before
his last place of
residence –
Brazil – he
decides to go
there and send
Carmen to Mexico.
A short while
later, Michael
grows impatient
for some answers
from Cruz. Mack is
suspicious when
Gretchen plays the
terrified wife,
though he later
overhears her and
Harland engaged in
warm, pleasant
conversation.
Augusta drives her
captor out of his
mind with her
blabbering. Sophia
and Lionel ask
C.C. to pay
Augusta's randsom,
and he agrees in
exchange for the
Lockridge estate.
Instead of the
original
twenty-five
million, he offers
the kidnappers ten
million dollars.
Gina leaves C.C. a
picture of
Sophia's
indiscretion,
but Sophia manages
to intercept it.
SEPTEMBER
27, 1990 (Ep. #1556)
Cruz fills
Michael in on
Harland's file on
Carmen, and his
belief that
Harland is trying
to frame C.C.
Michael agrees to
sit tight while
Cruz sends Carmen
to Mexico and
leaves for Brazil
to check on his
lead. Watching
Craig's tape of
"Robert,"
Kelly becomes
nervous when it
appears Robert and
Debra are flirting.
She's relieved
when she hears a
fight during which
Quinn/Robert tells
Debra he loves
only Kelly. Little
does she know it
was staged. Tired
of their
interference, Kelly
announces to Eden
and Craig that the
wedding will take
place in four
weeks. Quinn and
Flame prepare to
get rid of Robert,
with Flame taking
his drugged body
and locking him in
a coffin. Mack sees Harland
and Gretchen
acting like the
perfect couple.
Obviously, this
relationship is
very different
from the one
Gretchen has led
him to believe
exists. Gretchen
continues to play
the scared wife,
but Mack becomes
even more
suspicious when
Harland politely
asks Mack to break
it off with
Gretchen so
Harland can have
her back. It's
obvious Gretchen's
planning to set
Mack up for
Harland's murder.
SEPTEMBER
28, 1990 (Ep. #1557) Kelly
announces the
wedding will take
place in four
weeks and asks
Cassie to be her
maid of honor.
Craig and Eden
become suspicious
upon learning that
Robert/Quinn is
going out of town,
and Debra is
taking a coffin (with
a drugged Robert
inside) to New
Orleans. The
kidnappers accept
C.C.'s settlement
for ten million
dollars, happy to
get the blabbering
Augusta off their
hands. Lionel and
Augusta are
joyously reunited,
but she fumes upon
hearing that the
Lockridge estate
is history. Sophia
is so proud of
C.C.'s actions
that she informs
Lionel she's going
to disarm Gina by
telling C.C. about
the night they
spent together.
Fueled by Cassie's
suggestions, Mason
becomes jealous of
Julia and Dash's
close proximity,
and hires someone
to watch them.
Julia sees a
glimpse of Dash's
vulnerable side
when he's evasive
about his
girlfriend who
died in an
"accident"
a couple of years
ago.
