JULY
30, 1990 (Ep. #1513) Robert and
Kelly arrive in
Argentina to have
dinner and are
stunned when Hunt
arrives "on
business."
Later, the three
are forced to
share a hotel room
for the night.
Augusta persuades
C.C. to give
Lionel a job as
his art broker.
Having made the
switch of one of
C.C.'s paintings,
Gina sees that
C.C. has donated
that very painting
to the museum.
Mason tells C.C.
his idea for a
resort on the
beachfront
property C.C. just
bought. C.C. is
worried that Julia
and the
environmentalists
will cause
problems with the
resort but Mason
says he can handle
both. Mason shocks
Julia with the
news he's decided
to stay and work
for his father.
Meanwhile, Julia,
Cassie, Gretchen,
Augusta and Sophia
model in the
fashion show.
JULY
31, 1990 (Ep. #1514) Hunt fakes a
skiing injury in
Argentina to gain
Kelly's sympathy,
but is foiled when
Robert's on to his
tricks. Lionel
learns that the
museum didn't
bother to
authenticate
C.C.'s painting
because it came
from a reputable
source. Gina and
Phyllis also get
wind of this. C.C.
makes one last
attempt to
reconcile with
Sophia, but it's
to no avail.
Although Quinn grows
restless, Flame
doesn't think he's
ready to
impersonate Robert
and refuses to let
him call C.C.
Capwell. Amado grows restless
as Laken becomes
infatuated with
Stephen, their
acting teacher.
AUGUST
1, 1990 (Ep. #1515) Cassie
anticipates
problems with
Mason's resort
because of Julia
and the
environmentalists,
but Mason sees no
conflict. After a
heart-to-heart
with Augusta,
Julia decides to
support Mason in
his decision to
work for his
father. She even
offers to go with
Mason to Hong Kong
for business.
Flame videotapes
Quinn when he
impersonates
Robert. When Quinn
gets curious about
Robert's parents,
Flame thinks he's
becoming too
emotionally
involved, but
Quinn insists that
he has his reasons.
In Argentina,
Kelly is not
pleased that Hunt
faked his injury
and the three
leave after Robert
receives an
important business
call. Robert is
forced to make an
emergency landing
in the mountains
when the storm
becomes too rough.
Stephen offers
Laken a job as his
assistant
when she's unable
to pay for his
acting lessons.
AUGUST
2, 1990 (Ep. #1516) Trying
to get her parents
back together,
Eden sets C.C. up
to be Jamie
Lawrence's date to
make Sophia
jealous. The plan
backfires when
Sophia throws a
drink in C.C.'s
face. Since Nikki
is on the verge of
being deported,
Eden offers to be
her sponsor.
Michael proposes
marriage to Nikki
and this time she
accepts. Cruz
becomes
suspicious when
Ric obtains a new
job (with Harland
Richards) he can't
discuss. Lionel
finds that C.C.
still has the
fakes and tells
Augusta the news,
realizing that
someone else took
the originals from
the tunnel. Gina
suspects that
Lionel knows about
the disappearance
of the paintings,
especially after
she spies him
snooping. Needing
something against
Lionel should he
suspect her, Gina
starts to think of
a plan.
AUGUST
3, 1990 (Ep. #1517) Robert,
Kelly and Hunt are
accosted by local
cops and thrown
into a
rat-infested
prison. Quinn is
successful posing
as Robert during a
bank withdrawal.
Debra learns from
Eden that Robert's
parents are dead.
Lionel is stunned
when Sophia tells
him the reason she
sent the letter to
Lionel all those
years ago: to make
him jealous. The
man who's been
spying on Gretchen
turns out to be
Harland Richards.
Cruz is curious
when Ric begins to
show an interest
in environmental
issues.
