JULY
23, 1990 (Ep. #1508) Kelly has a
confrontation with
Robert about the letter and blasts
him. Then, she
separates herself
from both Robert
and Hunt. Robert
tells Hunt the
deal with Gretchen
is off due to the
waves being made
by the
environmental
group. Cutting
through the bull,
Robert warns Hunt
he's going after
Kelly. Robert's
twin, Quinn, and
Flame/Debra are
pleased about
Robert and Kelly's
estrangement, and
they get
passionate. During
dinner with her
parents, Laken is
not pleased about
Augusta's rudeness
towards Amado. The
stockholders
question Mason
about his drinking,
and he assures
them those days
are over. They're
soon impressed
with his new ideas
for the company.
JULY
24, 1990 (Ep. #1509) Lionel
receives a
threatening phone
call demanding the
paintings. Since
C.C. is out of
town, Lionel tells
Augusta he's
breaking into the
Capwell mansion
tonight. Meanwhile,
Gina plans on
exchanging C.C.'s
paintings for the
fakes by using her
laundry as a
front. While Gina
and Phyllis steal
one painting,
they're almost
caught by the
Capwell maid, who
unwittingly locks
Lionel in the wine
cellar. Cruz
overpowers a guard
and escapes from
the Sheik's
bunker. Upon
arriving in
Khareef, C.C.
organizes
mercenaries to try
to liberate Eden.
Eden convinces
C.C. that an
attack isn't the
answer. When the
Pasha reveals that
the Sheik called
off the
negotiations, Eden
is worried,
realizing that
Cruz was the
Sheik's bargaining
chip. Laken is
embarrassed when
Augusta is rude to
Amado again. Amado
tells Nikki he'll
return to Mexico
with her unless
she finds a
sponsor.
JULY
25, 1990 (Ep. #1510) Robert tries
to give Kelly a
gift reminding her
of their El Diablo
adventure. When
Hunt shows up as
well, the two men agree to give
Kelly time to make
up her mind. Still,
neither man
intends to live up
to the promise and
later Hunt
corners Kelly in
the stables. Lionel escapes
from the Capwell
wine cellar and
receives a
threatening note
with a date
circled. Laken
asks Lionel to
sponsor Amado's
sister, but he's
unable to help. While
visiting the
Capwells', Augusta
finds the letter
Sophia wrote to
Lionel years ago
and becomes upset
with Lionel. Gina
and Phyllis are
busy with their
secret quest to
find a fence for
the paintings. As Gretchen
and Mack begin to
make love in her
husband's studio,
they're unaware
they're being
watched from
behind a two-way
mirror.
JULY
26, 1990 (Ep. #1511) In the
stables, Hunt
confesses to Kelly
that he loves her.
She still needs
time, however, and
flies to New York
for fundraising.
Little does she
know that Robert
is the pilot! As
C.C. goes to meet
the Sheik, Cruz finds
Eden and they
share a reunion.
After C.C.
convinces the
Sheik not to wage
war, the Pasha
apologizes to Cruz.
Cruz, Eden,
Michael and C.C.
then leave Khareef.
Mason convinces a
reluctant Julia to
participate in a
fashion show with
Gretchen Richards.
Later, Mason
begins to handle
an out-of-court
settlement with
Stephen and offers
him one million
dollars. To be
able to pass as
Robert, Quinn
dresses like him
and imitates his
voice with the
help of Flame.
JULY
27, 1990 (Ep. #1512) When Cruz
and Eden return
from Khareef, the
only thing left
for Cruz to do is
return the
talisman to the
Sakeets, which he
does. C.C. is also
back home, but he
and Sophia are
still on the outs
after the problems
with Stephen and
the movie. Kelly
is surprised when
she sees Robert
co-piloting the plane.
At first furious
with him for
kidnapping her,
she can't stay
angry for very
long. Robert then
announces that
he's taking her to
Argentina to have
dinner together. Hunt
reverses his deal
with Gretchen so
C.C. can take
title of the land.
When Hunt learns
that both Robert
and Kelly are out
of town, he goes
after them. Since
Robert is away,
Quinn appears in
public with Flame/Debra
for a trial run as
Robert.
