The news about Frank Pressman brought her back. As Cassie speaks, Derek manages to slip away undetected. Eden gets a mysterious phone call warning her that Cruz will die if she tries to find him. Conducting a quiet search, she and Ric trace Cruz's abductor to Lisbon. Meanwhile, Cruz awakens to find himself held prisoner in the Pasha's tent, and the Pasha is wearing the talisman. Cruz tries to escape, but the Pasha finds him. He tries to get Cruz to sleep with one or all of his wives.

C.C. finds Lionel alive, probing around the Lockridge ruins. Everyone is shocked, but Lionel soon feeds them an explanation regarding the mix-up with his "death". He says he must have been misidentified after the car accident. Phyllis offers to give Gina one of her eyes. Gina nixes that idea and moves into the Capwell mansion. Eden and Michael agree to secretly fly to Lisbon. The Pasha attempts to drug Cruz into sleeping with his wife, but it doesn't work. Laken meets Amado for the first time.

JUNE 28, 1990 (Ep. #1493)
Laken promptly faints upon finding Lionel in Augusta's bed. He gives his daughter the phony explanation about his "death". Lionel tries to examine if the paintings in C.C.'s house are the originals or fakes, but keeps getting interrupted. C.C. insists that Cassie, his foster daughter, stay at the Capwell mansion. Sophia learns that C.C. was not only the financial backer of the film, but is now refusing to let the film be released. She's furious. Bunny's picture (taken from the video store surveillance camera) makes the paper as a suspect in the robbery. Bunny regains his identity when he's knocked on his head. He tries to escape, but Laura corners him with a knife.

Later, while Robert arranges a fundraiser for the orphanage, Hunt tells Kelly about going into business with Barr. Annie intercedes when Laura threatens Bunny with the knife. Ethan and the cops catch up with the trio and arrest Annie and Laura. Bunny cares enough about Annie to slip her the keys to her handcuffs. Sophia agrees to work with Stephen to fight C.C.'s veto.
