her film and feels
so pressured that
she faints.
Stephen vividly
recalls seeing
Sophia at a film
opening years ago,
only he lies to
her that he wasn't
there. Michael
admits to Ric that
he's attracted to
Nikki, but he's
under the belief
that she's engaged
to Marcos. Cruz
tells Michael and
Nikki that they've
both passed their
exams – they are
now officially
members of the
police force. Cruz
and Eden are hit
hard by the
drug-related
murder of the cop
and reaffirm that
they don't want to
lose each other.
Kelly gives her
community service
time to the
orphanage.
MARCH
27, 1990 (Ep. #1426) Cruz and
Michael bust a
teen with Ice, who
admits to getting
the drug for free
from some Hispanic
guy he's never
seen before.
Marcos orders
Nikki to get
assigned to harbor
duty. She assumes
she's expected to
look the other way
concerning his
illegal smuggling
activities. But
Nikki demands to
see her brother;
she won't go on
until she's seen
he's fine, she
tells Marcos.
Laura's loony
buddy, Annie,
gives her a good
piece of advice:
don't shoot Ethan;
a gun's too easily
traced. Taking the
advice, Laura
returns the gun
before Ethan can
see it's missing.
Derek and Kelly
are impressed with
Eden's story on
the orphanage.
MARCH
28, 1990 (Ep. #1427) Stephen and
Sophia rehearse a
dramatic scene,
but he's not
pleased with her
screen kiss. He
wants more feeling
from her. Later,
Stephen repeatedly
watches the
kissing scene, his
obsession evident.
After injecting
Annie with
sleeping
medication, Laura
escapes,
determined to cut the
brake cables on
Ethan's car and finally
kill him. Hunt
overhears Mason
and Julia question
Kelly about Hunt's
activities the
night Sasha was
killed. He follows
Kelly into the
elevator when,
suddenly, a
blackout hits the
city. The blackout
causes Mason and
Julia to panic
that Sasha will
thaw.
MARCH
29, 1990 (Ep. #1428) After Laura
cuts the brake
cables on Ethan's
car, he's in a
terrible accident.
Cruz learns that
the blackout is
due to sabotage
and suspects a
crime's being
committed.
Meanwhile, Marcos
receives a drug
shipment from a
helicopter drop.
Cruz's informant,
Rob, reports the
Ice dealer is a
rich woman named
Jane. Eden's
camerawoman, Linda,
passes out from
the drug and she
later tells Linda
to set up a
meeting with her
dealer, Jane.
While trapped in
the elevator, Hunt
relates a story to
Kelly about being
locked in a closet
as a kid. Kelly
sees a new side to
Craig. They're
able to escape
safely. Mason and
Julia later
suspect that Hunt
didn't kill Sasha
when he questions
them about her.
MARCH
30, 1990 (Ep. #1429) Eden has Linda
set up a meeting
with her dealer,
Jane. When Eden
meets Jane, she's
startled to see
she's an old
school
acquaintance. Rob
eavesdrops as Eden
and Jane set up a
time for the buy.
Cruz and Michael
gear up for the
bust, unaware of
Eden's involvement.
Stephen and Sophia
re-shoot their
kiss scene and
Sophia lets her
passion come
through. But
Sophia insists she
can't let the line
between the film
and her life blur.
Laura learns that
Ethan didn't die
in the car
accident. Annie's
sure that Laura
tried to kill
Ethan. When Laura
goes to the
hospital to inject
sleeping
medication in
Ethan's IV and
finish him off,
she drops her
syringe. She's
almost caught by
Gina. Derek,
Stephen and Hunt
all get news of
the terrible
accident and each
abruptly rush off.
Later, Ethan
receives three
mysterious male
visitors.
